"You are only as 'good' as you were yesterday, so you had better try harder today",that's why I am the one in the BACK, muttering 'abandon all hope ye who enter here'. So, look BACK!!!
But there's lots more about me; I just can't find it. And no, I don't mean furniture and beer glasses
Forgive me for inserting an opinion at times, consider such intrusions, mere, malleable conclusions, subject to change. And I've changed many, but not though whimsy, fear, or in pursuit of power or cash, the sock stuffing of the truly, often unknowingly, impotent and deluded.

In the NYC area, Madison Square Garden is simply The Garden.
And it is a garden. A living, growing panolpy of art, music, and entertainment of all sorts, and taken from the best around the many fine artforms of many lands and cultures.
Enjoy and learn.

Ah, the Irish. Their own, British independent, Landmark Trust.
When I worked and lurked in Jersey City, NJ, when the Colgate Clock was more than a landmark, but a timepiece for the Colgate Factory filled with working folk making good money, and the number was played instead of the pick 3, when days were brighter and mornings more welcome, I was honored by being called O'Fri******' an honorary admission into the Hibernian World.
It still makes me proud, and has enabled me to understand why God invented liquor.
So the Irish would never rule the world, nor would I. But I would run and gun and witticise, and feel the warmth of liquid and intangible spirits of my adopted Irish family.
Unlike the Brits, they would take in a solitary Jew, and treat him more than well.
Real pubs, no snakes, women to die for, and men to kill you with a song on their lips, and personal passion, with laughter foaming your lips, verbal beauty born of wit, love, friendship, and tears, but never at the cold hands of dulled thoughts and cold mechanics typical in much of the English speaking nations. Boston and Chicago's South Sides notable exceptions.
But I talk on, and before this becomes story of fable, or too similar to the constant hummingbird wing buzz of conversation in the warmth of an Irish pub, or parliment, on a cold evening, I will shut up, and before the following ellipsis....

Cali, Hollywood (undefeated by the McCarthy era Fed and ruling elite assaults, and remaining obstacle to 1984 government here), and great press.
And of course, such a wealthy state, with such press power, needs funding much more than the citizen hordes in New Orleans and other forgotten and carpetbagged areas.
We do not even need to supply facts and figures to support this statement, they are all out there, not even deemed worthy of hiding from a zombielike citizenry.
Sound a bit vitriolic? Facts have sharp edges, and corrosive effects.
Iran, Iraq, Korea, Cuba, Venezuala, China, Lemuria and Atlantis, all members of the Axis of Evil (like the Axis of WW2, a real Axis), will not be rehashed herein today.
Too much effort to dispel too much spin doctoring, propaganda, and outright unintelligent designs.
Savvy?

And that intel was also available from routine maintainance workers in the area.
And the blonde reporter who was smoking a butt outside the main building two days beforehand, listening to the whistles giving away hidden positions of friendly armed forces.
Complex?

Lets build a new Disney theme park there. They want, need, and love the thought of democracy, particularly the American form of democracy, like the Patriot Act, freedom fries, new fencing technology, and the freedom and protections of holding a U.S. passport.
Who wouldn't. But the Iraqi minister obviously with his limited knowledge of English know what he was saying. Our overseas staff will clarify things for him, be assured.
